Oregon Newspaper Advertising Threshold to Increase in 2026
Oregon Governor Tina Kotek signed SSA-backed SB 433 into law on May 28, and it takes effect on January 1, 2026. Currently, storage owners must advertise all units they determine are worth more than $300 in the newspaper. Learn more here
SSA headquarters and ORSSA offices will be closed September 1-5 for the 2025 Fall Conference in Las Vegas. Please note that correspondence from SSA staff during this time will be delayed.
"Being a founding member of the Oregon Self Storage Association (ORSSA), I am proud of the strides that have been made over the last 3 years. When a small group of Oregon owners initially started discussing the possibility of establishing a state organization and our different ideas of how we envisioned it, we never anticipated that we would have the success that we now enjoy. I think that my time and energy spent with the ORSSA has been returned to me three-fold. I enjoy the opportunity to interact with the other owners and operators and share information. I encourage all owners and operators of self storage facilities in the state to join this group." Jeff Jensen North Plains RV and Self Storage
